Recently, I had another opportunity to compare the photos taken by the listing agent with those of a professional real estate photographer. Poor guy, he tried his best. You'll see in the last few photos, it is VERY obvious that from all his attempts at taking his own photos, he has become painfully aware that there's *something* not quite right about even the angles of his photos. He seems to be attempting to remedy this by shooting from a very low squatting position. Sorry - this just makes things even worse!!
Eventually, the agent lost the listing, and the new agent hired me to come in and show this charming house at its very best. Check it out!!
While not the *worst* non-pro real estate photo I've ever seen, it definitely doesn't measure up when you realize that this is what the room actually looks like:
When it was my turn to photograph this room, I chose NOT to use the angle in the former photo, because it showed nothing but furniture, and ignored the 3 sunny windows.
Certainly this photo is so much more appealing than the former one, BUT . . .
Let me just say *again* how very much I still absolutely DESPISE red rooms!!!!!
This is the other picture-taker's low squatting position I mentioned. Still not helping him/her capture an appealing representation of this bedroom.
Again with the low squatting angle. What in the world??
Stand up!!!! Please!!! No, wait - just call me. I'll take care of it.
Again with the down-low angle. All this accomplished was to make sure that any furniture totally blocked any possible view of the whole room.
While not the best photo I've ever taken, it is still preferable to the former!
