Disclaimer: There's another separate topic that I could go on and on about. For now, suffice it to say that you may or may not notice that some of my recent work isn't quite as picture perfect as it has been in the past. This is due in part, to the volume of houses I shoot at this time of year, and in part owing to the fact that for my pricing to remain at a point that my clients consider reasonable, it simply is no longer feasible for me to spend as much time shooting and editing as I have in the past.
And STILL, my photos outshine those that were presented to the client by the previous photographer. It's bad enough when an agent just takes their own photos and uses them, but when an agent at least makes an effort to use a photographer (self-proclaimed "real estate photographer"), and puts out the money for it, certainly they should be able to expect photos that are better than they could take themselves.
